About Alison Lewis, President and Owner of Ingredients, Inc.
Alison Lewis is a nationally-known Recipe Developer, Television and Social Media Food Spokesperson, Food Educator, Nutritionist and President and Owner of Ingredients, Inc., a Food Consulting company in Birmingham, Alabama. She is known for creating healthy family-friendly recipes that are easy to prepare, and she offers great entertaining ideas on her blog http://ingredientsinc.net. Her first cookbook (title TBA) will be internationally published by Robert Rose Books in the spring of 2011. Her recipes are frequently featured in well-known magazine publications and cookbooks (see below), and she has a wealth of television cooking experience, appearing regularly on NBC 13 Birmingham, CBS 42 Birmingham, Fox 6 Birmingham, Channel 5 Nashville and CBS 46 in Atlanta.
Alison’s blog has been featured on America Online, “Apartment Therapy: The Kitchen,” “Slashfood.com”, “Makesandtakes.com”, “quickmealhelp.com, ”CookEatShare.com” and several other U.S and foreign websites and food blogs. Alison teaches private and group cooking classes to children, and she has her own line of Gluten-Free Cookies.
She also has a wealth of experience judging and testing for recipe contests for corporate clients such as The Washington State Apple Commission, Safeway Cheese -Canada and USA, T. Marzetti and Country Living Magazine’s first ever contest 2010-2011. A mother of three and avid tennis player, runner, and photographer, Alison enjoys yoga and spending time with her family in her free time.
