Beat the Heat with Healthy Sparkling Fruit Water

July 08, 2012

It’s been so hot here, and every day my kids and I are trying to come up with new ways to keep cool. I decided to freeze some pomegranate juice and blueberries and combine it in sparkling lime-flavored water to create this super refreshing and healthy Sparkling Fruit Water. It’s so easy!

Healthy Sparkling Fruit Water

Prep: 10 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) bottle pomegranate juice
5 cups lime-flavored sparkling water, divided
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1 lime, thinly sliced
Preparation
1. Pour pomegranate juice in ice cube trays. Pour 2 cups lime-flavored sparkling water in another ice cube tray. Add blueberries in the trays with sparkling water. Freeze at least 8 hours or overnight.

2. Pour remaining sparkling water in a pitcher. Remove ice cubes from trays and serve immediately.

Looks brilliant and I love the photo. Hopefully, we can get some sun over here in the UK so I can try it out. We had a really good weekend but today's looking quite dull.
