Wow, what a week! From Disney in Orlando for Food Blog Forum to Sandestin Resort (pictured above and below) in South Walton, my kids and I have had quite the treat. I guess this is the true definition of an “awesome” spring break. Here are some inspirations from last week from my travels as well as across the blogosphere. Love these recaps you do Alison. The Passover inspiration in particular. I find baking can be challenging w/o any leavening therefore I usually resort to custards.

I love the lavender items....one of my favorite colors. I would have loved to go to the food forum but didnt find out about it till it was happening. Any suggestions on finding blog conferences/forums? I am new to this area (living in southern Alabama) and have missed two local conferences that I would have gone to if I knew about them ahead of time:(
